Mary Creek Caravan & Camping Ground

Originally a Tobacco Farm the Caravan Park was established in the late 1970s as a mining camp for additional accommodation for workers and their families at the nearby Mount Carbine Tungsten mine.

The grounds have a park feel with established shady trees, large open grassed areas set above the Mary Creek, its source the nearby Mt. Lewis National Park.

Rarely Crowded

What to expect:
Bustard Downs offers a quiet relaxed laid back atmosphere, spacious shady sites above the Mary Creek, 300+ sunny days per year, hot showers, clean facilities and beautiful landscape mountain views.  Bustard Downs is a working family farm practicing organic, bio-dynamic, natural farming with a small herd of Brahman cattle that occupy the paddocks alongside the Bustards. The owners offer a friendly welcome to their guests and leave you to your own peace and privacy. Unless you ask for help or assistance you will be left to enjoy your own outback bush experience, the quiet pace, clean air, birds and sunshine.
