The property is in the Mitchell River watershed, is close to National Parks, State Forest, Mount Carbine Tableland, Australian Wildlife Conservancy's Brooklyn Station and Mareeba Wetlands.

Explore a gallery forest of giant Melaleucas along the Mary Creek, take a refreshing dip with no crocodiles. Bird watch Australian Bustard, Red-wing parrot, Red-tailed Black Cockatoo & Great Bowerbird. Watch the sunrise while wildlife spotting the many species of mammals including Agile Wallaby, as well as reptiles, frogs, birds and insects.
